Please tell me how to remotely turn off my camera? There is a slider in the app to turn it off manually, but I haven't found a way to do it remotely.

There are two ways how to turn off the camera remotely:
1) Go to the camera settings and almost at the bottom there is an item "Turn on | off | delete...". Click on it and then choose "Turn off".
2) Simply slide left or right over the preview image on the main screen.

I wish you would update the app to have an automatic option in dark or light mode.

The application switches automatically to the "low light mode" at dusk and switches back to normal mode if there is enough of light.

All images are damaged; it is impossible to erase. I was wondering if it was possible to remove them manually? Other than that it has always been an excellent app and it would definitely solve the problem.

Maybe the problem is only that it takes some time until the "viewer" downloads the images from Internet? I mean, if you would wait a little bit, the images would be downloaded and you could see them? If you want to delete them, long press on the day title to marked all images of that day and then click on the trash icon.

Why can the camera no longer be turned on automatically in Android 11 versions?

This is due to new security rules that were presented on Android 11. According these rules, camera and microphone can only be access by application that were launched by a human.
So, for instance, when a camera phone restarts, the application can be started automatically, but it wouldn't have access to the camera and microphone - so it would be useless. For this reason, the application is set up to not start automatically on Android 11 and higher.

On the paid version of the program I can watch 480 minutes a week of online video in HD resolution. And I can somehow see how many minutes is used it and how much is left?

Unfortunately, information about remaining minutes of HD quality isn't shown anywhere in the app. I should add this info somewhere.

I have a camera which doesn't works any more but it has been impossible to delete from the main list of cameras. Such camera had malfunction and crashed before it was deleted. What I need to do delete that device?

You can delete the camera if you go to the settings of the camera, and almost at the bottom there is an option "Turn on|off|Delete...", click on it and then select "Delete".

The app only works with Google Home Assistant at this moment. I plan to add Amazon Alexa as well, but I cannot promise you when it will be.

How can I run the app on my Android TV?

I am afraid that this app isn't available for Android TV yet. But you can stream video from your camera on TV using Google Assistant, if you want. If you use Google Assistant, just same "Show me my camera on TV" and you will see the video on TV.

Can the app stream as an IP camera and detect/notify motion simultaneously?

The camera cannot transmit IP stream and detect motions at the same time. But I can add such a feature in the future.

What app can I use to play IP camera mode video?

Personally I use VLC media player, but I think you can use almost any media player including Windows Media Player. In the media player click on "Open" - "Open media stream from URL" and type the (IP) address of your camera.

I would like to know how I can turn on the camera remotely???

If your camera cannot be turned on remotely, several things could happen.
1) The camera has lost internet connection, so it cannot be reached over Internet
2) The camera is not plugged into a charger, so it is in sleep mode, or the camera exhausted the battery.
3) The camera phone shut down or the application has shut down.
I am afraid that in all cases you will have to go to the camera and check if it is running and connected to Internet. I would highly recommend to physically restart the camera phone.

So I switched to live mode and I saw the best moments but I can't take screenshots. (with the screenshot button maybe, but it's not a nice solution) I know, t's possible to record the stream like a video, but basically the stream runs on low resolution, so the video is very poor, like the pictures what we can grab from it.
After this came the idea to have a "photo" button, which could make HD pictures behind the video stream. Like in the alarm mode, just manually, not by detection.
I can imagine that the HQ picture grabbing during the video stream is not possible, because the sensor is already used by a different task, but who knows, I was made a try with my question.
The camera was taking great pictures in the very early morning. (wild hogs in my garden at 4am) I think the camera was in "night" mode. On the afternoon I was able to download all the daytime pictures in HQ with the download button, but not the early morning photos. The icon for downloading was not available by this pictures only by the daytime pictures.
It is possible that the night mode disables the HQ photo mode?

Your first request (or idea) is very interesting. Taking pictures in high resolution during video stream isn't really common, and there isn't a straightforward solution. But maybe it is possible, I will have to think about it. But the idea to have such a function is nice, I like it.
Concerning the second question - pictures that were taken during "nigh mode" are not available in high resolution. The reason is that these images are usually in very low quality and keeping high resolution images doesn't make sense. There is one more reason, which is more or less technical, but basically, "night mode" images doesn't have their high resolution version.

The minimum grid size is hardcoded in the application, so it is not possible to make the squares smaller, I am sorry.

Recording clips is ok... up to 12 seconds, and it records sounds as well? If it is doing that now, please tell me how because it is not working properly when I set it up like that.

The camera is set to record detected motions as high resolution images by default. To record as video clips (including sound) you have to go to the camera settings, find "Recording method", click on it and choose "Video sequences".

Can I, with your app, connect an IP camera? If fact, I have tried to use a TP-Link Tapo C100, but the app of Tapo is not at all too much.

I have to disappoint you - third party cameras cannot be connected to this app. May be I will add such a feature in the future.

When I watch the broadcast online, does the camera record movements? Writes them down?

When you watch the live stream, the stream is not recorded anywhere. Not in the camera, not on the server and not on the monitor phone. To record the live stream, you have to click on the red recording button. The recording is then saved to the Movies folder on your "monitor" phone.

Can it record on video and save it in the drive? The whole app is not functioning properly when I set it like that. Also, is there a way to run it in and save as much power as possible? And if you could incorporate a schedule automatic turn on/off phone, that would be great... And please don't lose the image quality, that is one of the reason why this app is the best yet...

The app is primarily intended to detect motions and record them - you can record them as a series of images in high resolution or as video clips. The recorded media a primarily saved to a private cloud. Images can be also stored at Google Drive, but videos not yet (it will be added in some future version).
So recordings of detected motions are saved on private cloud and you can see them on your monitor phone. From the monitor phone, you can save the recordings (both images and videos) to the local storage of the monitor phone (to Pictures and Movies folders).
When the application runs and detects motions, its power consumption is pretty high. This is because the app accesses the camera chip and makes some heavy computations. This cannot be avoided. When the camera does not detect motions, its power consumption is very low. You can schedule motion detection times in the app.

When I select invite friends and send them a link and they login to Google it tells them you do not have a camera. I tested this with another account to make sure and it did the same thing. Requires to use the camera login. Would be better if we could allow a friend to view the camera without having to give them our email login information and password.

The invitation should work as you expect - when you send an invitation to your fried and he clicks it, he should be navigated to the Google Play store to download the app. Then, when he runs it and when he creates some (his own) account, he should see your camera. If something fails, you can send him the invitation again. Each invitation works only once - after it is clicked. So the invitation cannot be reused - when it is clicked for the second time, it doesn't work anymore.

For paying, the application doesn't process the payment by itself, it relies on the standard Google Play service. The application only receives an info that the payment has been done. So I cannot influence the payment process in any way, I am very sorry.

The application has built-in autostart feature, so the application on the camera phone should autostart after the phone reboots. Due to new Android security policy, this feature only works on Android 10 or lower.

If the app could just maintain its features, being able to run in background of old model phone such as Galaxy, and record in video, this app would be the best one in the market.

This is not a spy camera or tracking camera, so it is not designed to run (invisibly) on background. The main reason is that newer Androids do not allow background applications to access microphone and camera. Google simply doesn't want spy apps on his Androids. For this reason, this my app is designed to run on the display and it will not (unfortunately) change in near future.

Please could you reload the page using the "reload" icon just next (on the left side) of the web address in your browser? If the reload doesn't help, try to go to the browser settings and clear the cache.

Yesterday I watched an online video in HD resolution, and today it s already in a resolution of 420*270, why?

This is because of the week time limit for the HD video quality. The limit is currently set to 120 minutes for the free version of the app and 480 minutes. When this limit is reached, the app starts to show standard quality only. The limit is reset each Thursday night, but currently I have reset the limit on your account, so now you should see the HD quality again.

I installed your app on my 2 mobile phones but every time I want to use the camera it says (the camera cannot be turned on now). And when I go to the camera settings of your app I can't go to the setting. Even when I try to reactivate it remotely, it doesn't work.

If your camera says it is offline or turned off and the camera cannot be turned on remotely, please check the following: (1) the camera is plugged into a charger and the charger is working, (2) check on the camera phone that "Battery optimization" is turned off. The camera shows a warning on its display if "Battery optimization" is not turned off and offers you a guide how to turn it off.

What does the "Full storage" message means?

The "Full storage" message is only warning that the camera storage is full and the camera started to overwrite old pictures. I agree that the red message is a little bit aggressive. Before I had a little icon instead of the message, but no one understood the icon, so I put there a text.

I contacted you some time ago about the problem I had with photo's not deleting. It seemed to be solved after I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but for the past few weeks it has started to do it again despite reinstalling the app. I have to uninstall and reinstall every few days or the photo's keep accumulating!

It is very strange. As far as I know the deleting should work just fine, at least no other users complain about similar issue. The problem must be somewhere in the "monitor" phone. Please would you physically restart your "monitor" phone? And let me know in case the restart doesn't help.

Suddenly camera doesn`t transfer sound, there is stable connection, video stream is ok but no sound. What could happen?

Please go to the camera settings - Advanced - Live feed options and check if the camera isn't set to "Video only". Then check if your "monitor" phone's volume isn't muted. If both is ok, then the problem is probably in the camera microphone :-(

How can I access all my history?

The application keeps the history of detected motions for 15 days (30 days in the paid version). These limits are fixed in the app and unfortunately cannot be changed.

Is it possible to make the app restart automatically every hour to restore the connection if it is lost? Having the possibility to turn on this option at will.

When the camera phone loses internet connection, the application knows it and tries to recover the connection periodically. Of course, the app cannot connect to the WiFi by itself, but instead the app asks the camera phone to find a WiFi signal and connect to it. This is the maximum what the app can do to reconnect to Internet. It depends on the phone's manufacturer how the phone deals with such a request. Some phones try to reconnect to the WiFi upon a request, but others don't.

Dear support team,
Since updating the software/apps and using video recording mode, there is no video backup on google drive, I have been searching recorded video on camera unit also at the monitoring unit, but there is no saved video, where is actually the recorded video is saved? I'd like to baking up to my hard drive if there is any unexpected situation while I am not always watching the camera and I can find on my backup.

When a camera is switched to the "video" recording mode, it doesn't yet store the videos on Google Drive. I will add this functionality soon.
Edit: this function was added in version 3.2.0.
